So the weather forecast was so right :-( when we left Vélez Rubio, the temperatures got even colder, big wind and rain started. We were about to approach Barcelona. We stayed the night in Ametlla de Mar but we couldn't visit it because it rained all along !!!! So we went in to a bar where we explained that we did neither speak catalan, nor Spanish, so we decided to try the conversation in English ;-) The cook suggested us to taste 'knife mussels' and it was delicious!
We continued in the rain and we decided to skip Barcelona and directly to the costa brava.
Barcelona was to big for us, we didn't know where to go and the rain didn't arrange anything.
Going through Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar, Calella de Palafrugell and Palafrugell we had childhood souvenirs coming up. The rain stopped and we could enjoy the pebbels on the beach. At this time we had to put the heating already several times...brrrr
