Visting Lappish Cities :-)

Everything is pretty far away and sometimes the roads are not that big. So once we went to a town called Rovaniemi at 200km away where Santa Claus is living and working... did you know that? We didn't meet him, he was on holiday for a while, needed some rest.

But we did see a nice city centre with bars and cafés open in the sun and a museum called Arktikum where we learned lots about the region called Lappland and their inhabitants the Sami. These are the aboriginal people from Northern Finland, Sweden and Norway and there were lots of conflicts and well still there are.

Another time we went to Kittilä where we enjoyed a little flea market and some coffee and cake in the sun. This was well deserved after a short visit at the dentist. Not really bad so ;-)
